A university name alone is not enough for an online or distance-learning decision. Check the exact programme, learning mode and admission session on the UGC Distance Education Bureau website. Recognition for an earlier session should not be treated as automatic approval for another session.

Compare the learning experience

Ask how classes, assessments, examinations and student support work. Check whether practical components or attendance requirements apply and whether the format fits your available time.

Keep the written evidence

Save the official programme listing, current prospectus, fee schedule and refund information. If a detail is unclear, request clarification from the institution before submitting payment.
